The cap velvet is faded and the lining and braid are in good condition.
The cap represents Carey's 14th and 15th International appearances for the Republic, in the match against Portugal played on 23rd May in Lisbon, Portugal defeated Ireland 2-0 and and in the match against Spain played on 30th May in Barcelona, Spain defeated Ireland 2-1.
