In order to bid live on the day of the auction, you will first need to register on our Live Bidding platform, partnered with the-saleroom.co.uk. Please note that this is a separate login to your account for the Graham Budd Auctions website.
Registration will open once the auction’s catalogue is published on the website. You can then follow the below steps to register for live bidding:
- Visit our Live Bidding platform and click on the auction catalogue
- Click the red ‘Register to bid’ button and login or set up an account with our live bidding partner, the-saleroom.co.uk
- Complete the payment and address form to register to bid for the auction (you will need to register a credit or debit card)
Please ensure you have registered to bid live well in advance of the auction date to avoid disappointment on the day.
Absentee Bidding
On auction day if you are unavailable or do not wish to bid online, the auctioneer can execute bids on your behalf. The easiest way to do this is by registering on our website. You will then be able to leave and manage bids up until midnight, the day before the auction. Click ‘Place Bid’ on your chosen lot in the catalogue to leave your bid, you will need to declare a maximum limit. The auctioneer will try and secure the lot for you as inexpensively as possible, subject to the reserve price and the competition you encounter from other bidders.
If you would prefer, you can simply email your bidding instructions to the auctioneer Absentee Bidding. Please be sure to provide your full contact details and check the bidding instructions carefully before submitting.
Telephone Bidding
It is possible to arrange telephone bidding for our auctions, subject always to the availability of lines and staffing. Email Us to register the lots you are interested in. During the auction we will call you from the saleroom shortly before your lot is coming under the hammer. You will be able to hear the auctioneer and our member of staff will bid on your behalf when instructed by you.
