Norway, Argentina and Norway International Cap 1950-51, in green velvet with gold braid trim and tassel with the game details embroidered, again in gold braid on the panels along with the years which are detailed on the peak. The cap velvet is good condition, as is the lining and braid.
The cap represents Carey's 25th, 26th and 27th International appearance for the Republic, in the match against Norway played on 26th November at Dalymount Park, the match ended in a 2-2 draw, Carey scoring a penalty, in the match against Argentina played on 13th May at Dalymount Park, Argentina defeated Ireland 1-0 and in the match against Norway played on 30th May Ireland defeated Norway 3-2
