London 2012 Olympic Stadium athletics track start line marking used for the 400m & 4 x 100m Relay events, it is not known which lane start line this was, but through the absence of unique track marking/features on this section lanes 1, 2 & 9 can be eliminated, so it was for either lanes 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 or 8, and as such there is a high probability that this was a medal winning lane as only Lane 3 failed to provide a place on the podium, a section of the red vulcanized rubber dual layer athletics track installed by the Italian manufacturer Mondo, removed from its position at a start line for the 400m & 4 x 100m Relay events, bearing '4 x 100' & '400' in white in the ''2012Headline'' typeface designed by Gareth Hague for the London 2012 Games, the first time that an Olympic running track was marked with anything other than generic Arabic numerals, the track section with the start line & outer lane marking in white, measurement approx. 75 by 55cm.; sold with a certificate of authenticity issued by the London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC) and the Mayor of Newham (2) In the Men's 400m the medals came from lanes 5 gold Kirani James (Grenada), 7 silver Luguelin Santos (Dominican Republic) & 4 bronze Lalonde Gordon (Trinidad & Tobago).
