A group of four signed caricature drawings of racing personalities by the racecourse Tic Tac man Keith Self,
all signed by Keith Self and dated '81, comprising a drawing double-signed by Lester Piggott & Henry Cecil; one signed by the jockey Pat Eddery, the others signed by the trainers Clive Brittain and Michael Stoute, uniformly mounted, framed & glazed, 28 by 31.5cm., good condition, (4).
Keith Self was a familiar face in the betting rings of British racecourses for many years as a Tic Tac man. He was also a talented caricaturist. The backboards of the frames are all inscribed and recording the caricatures were signed by the trainers and jockeys at the Newmarket July Course evening meeting on 7th August 1981.
