Timarida was a grey filly foaled in 1992 by Kalaglow out of Triumphant (Track Spare). She was bred and raced by H.H. The Aga Khan and trained in Ireland by John Oxx.
Unraced as a 2-y-o, the filly was raced internationally at three and four and recorded 10 victories including the Grosser Dullmayer Prix Bayeriches Zuchrennen, the occasion she wore this shoe. Other notable victories were recorded in the Brownstown Stakes, Matron Stakes, Prix de l’Opera, E P Taylor Stakes, Beverly D Stakes and Irish Champion Stakes.
At Stud, of her seven foals the best was Timarwa who won the fillies & mares Group race now known as the Snow Fairy Stakes at The Curragh, previously sponsored by the Lanwades Stud.
