Walter Lindrum collection of Billiards related items, including signed, inscribed and dedicated postcard, an advertising card for ‘Janus’ Billiard cloth and a photograph of Walter Lindrum tutoring Don Bradman at Billiards (total of 3 items) Walter Albert Lindrum, OBE (29th August 1898 – 30th July 1960), was an Australian professional player of English billiards who held the World Professional Billiards Championship from 1933 until his retirement in 1950. On Lindrum's second tour of England, in late 1930, Donals Bradman and other members of the touring Australian cricket team, would sometimes attend Lindrum's matches at Thurston’s Hall, London. As an indication of the esteem in which Lindrum was held, the critic Neville Cardus referred to Bradman as "the Lindrum of cricket".
