A superb album of photographs of Derby winners 1885 to 1913 by the leading equestrian photographer W. A. Rouch, a large black cloth-bound album titled gilt DERBY WINNERS, the beginning of the album bearing a hand written ink inscription from Rouch reading: "The contents of this album are all photographs from life, with the exception of Ormonde, which is a copy of the painting by Emil Adam which was presented by the late Duke of Westminster to the Jockey Club, and which hangs at Newmarket, bearing sticker for W. W. Rouch & Co., Photographers, 161 Strand, London, each high quality 8 1/2 by 10 1/2in. photograph (platinum process or silver gelatin) with hand written legend and protected by a tissue guard, content comprising Melton (1885), Ormonde (1886), Ayrshire (1888), Donovan (1889), Sainfoin (1890), Common (1891), Sir Hugo (1892), Isinglass (1893), Ladas (1894), Sir Visto (1895), Persimmon (1896), Galtee More (1897), Jeddah (1898), Flying Fox (1899), Diamond Jubilee (1900), Volodyovski (1901), Ard Patrick (1902), Rock Sand (1903), St Amnant (1904), Cicero (1905), Spearmint (1906), Orby (1907), Signorinetta (1908), Minoru (1909), Lemberg (1910), Sunstar (1911), Tagalie (1912), Craganour (first past the post 1913) and Aboyeur (awarded the race 1913), front cover of album separarted from spine, general wear to binding, a number of tissue cards creased though not being laid down correctly, photographs in good condition  For reasons unknown Rouch did not include a photograph of the 1887 Derby winner Merry Hampton, otherwise a complete run from 1885-1913
