Rare multi-signed official poster for the Russian Federal Republic v Great Britain international Track & Field Athletics match held at Central Stadium, Volgograd, 28th-29th September 1963, featuring an athlete with text in Russian, event details, bears signatures of athletes in blue ink, a full list appears in the images for this lot, and includes Olympic gold medallists and world record holders Harold Abrahams, Lynn Davies, Ann Packer, Dame Mary Peters, Peter Radford Mary Rand. Other team members including Dorothy Hyman, John Anderson, Nick Overhead, Madelaine Cobb, Neil Allen, Sheila Larkin, Phil Gale, Anne R Smith, Melvyn Batty and many more, fade, stained, edge and fold tears, minor losses, glazed and framed, overall 96 by 64cm. Great Britain were the first overseas team to beat the Russian Federal Republic in a track & field match on their home soil.
