London 2012 Olympic Stadium athletics track Lane No.3 marking, a section of the red vulcanized rubber dual layer athletics track installed by the Italian manufacturer Mondo, removed from its position at the termination of the sprint track beyond the 100m & 110m (hurdles) starts, bearing the 'No.3' lane marking in white in the ''2012Headline'' typeface designed by Gareth Hague for the London 2012 Games, the first time that an Olympic running track was marked with anything other than generic Arabic numerals, measurement approx. 120 by 110cm.; sold with a certificate of authenticity issued by the London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC) and the Mayor of Newham (2) From Lane 3 the men's decathlon gold medal winner Ahston Eaton (USA) set an Olympic Best time of 10.35 secs. in the 100m., the opening event of the two-day competition.
