London 2012 Olympic Stadium athletics track Lane 9 start line marking used for the 200m events, a section of the red vulcanized rubber dual layer athletics track installed by the Italian manufacturer Mondo, removed from its position at the Lane 9 start line for the 200m, bearing '200'' in white in the ''2012Headline'' typeface designed by Gareth Hague for the London 2012 Games, the first time that an Olympic running track was marked with anything other than generic Arabic numerals, the track section with the start line & outer lane marking in white, and preserved is a strip of the black coloured surface beyond the outer boundary of Lane 9 of the running track, measurement approx. 120 by 100cm.; sold with a certificate of authenticity issued by the London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC) and the Mayor of Newham (2) In the women's 200m final Carmelita Jeter (USA) ran in Lane 9 and won the bronze medal. In the men's 200m final Lane 9 was occupied by South Africa's Anaso Jobodwana. No gold medals were won from Lane 9 at the Paralympics.
