London 2012 Olympic Stadium athletics track men's 110m Hurdles Start Line lane marking, a section of the red vulcanized rubber dual layer athletics track installed by the Italian manufacturer Mondo, removed from its position at the start line for the men's 110m Hurdles on the sprint track, bearing '110' in white in the ''2012Headline'' typeface designed by Gareth Hague for the London 2012 Games, the first time that an Olympic running track was marked with anything other than generic Arabic numerals, and with the start line and outer lane marking in white at right angles, measurement approx. 130 by 74cm.; sold with a certificate of authenticity issued by the London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC) and the Mayor of Newham (2) It is not recorded from which lane of the men's 110m Hurdles course that this section of start line track was taken. The event was won by Aries Merritt of the USA in a time of 12.92 secs. Fellow countryman Jason Richardson took silver with Hansle Parchment of Jamaica finishing in the bronze medal position. No hurdling events are held at Paralympic Games.
