A Dave Mackay Tottenham Hotspur track suit top used for training before the 1962 F.A. Cup final, by Umbro with embroidered club badge inscribed WEMBLEY, 1962, the reversed with the stitched lettering SPURS For the avoidance of doubt, this was not the track suit top Dave Mackay wore at Wembley on match day. It was issued for training during the build up to the final. For the second successive year Tottenham Hotspur lifted the F.A. Cup, defeating Burnley 3-1. It was originally sold as part of the Dave Mackay Collection at Sotheby's 21st September 2001 where it was purchased by the present vendor.
