Cup final, long-sleeved, inscribed below the cockerel badge WEMBLEY 1967; sold with a letter of provenance; the lot also including a supporter's Cup final rosette (3) The letter of provenance confirms that this individual, when a child, was given this jersey directly by Alan Gilzean. This was in about 1980 when a relative was an employee at White Hart Lane and had got to know Alan Gilzean. The recipient subsequently sold the jersey to the present vendor in 2003. Cup winner's medal in 1967 following the defeat of Chelsea. He continued to be a regular starter in the Tottenham team in the first half of the 1970s with new partner Martin Chivers and won two League Cups and a UEFA Cup during this time before retiring in 1974, having made 343 appearances and scored 93 goals.
