Letter from Leslie Perrin Associates Ltd confirming issue of press pass for Rolling Stones concert.
£100 - £200
A letter from Leslie Perrin Associates Ltd confirming the issue of a press pass for The Rolling Stones concert at The London Roundhouse on Sunday, March 4th at 5.00pm 1971 for journalist Rick Sanders, accompanied by a copy of The Stones in the Park magazine telling the story of the legendary free concert that took place in Hyde Park in the summer of 1969. The letter has been folded into three and has some age related marks, and the magazine is good condition. The concerts were a part of the chaotic Goodbye Britain tour that was the prequel to the Stones becoming tax exiles in the South of France after the final two Roundhouse appearances, a move that gave birth to the fabled Exile on Main Street album, and this letter is a fascinating part of that story.
Provenance: From the collection of Rick Sanders.
