Two extremely rare Bridget St John 45 rpm factory acetate pressing singles including Hello Again (of course) c/w To B. Without a Hitch and Ask Me No Questions c/w Lizard Long Tongue Boy, both on the Recorded Sound Studios label, lettered TEL: GRO 4634 3726 6594 RECORDED SOUND STUDIOS 27-31 BRYANSTON ST, MARBLE ARCH, LONDON W.1, solid centres and both in plain brown paper original sleeves, VG condition with some light marks, (2).
Born in Surrey, St John first performed at Sheffield University in 1964/65, playing first professional performance in nearby Rotherham in 1967. She met the legendary John Martyn after returning to England after a spell in France, and it was he who helped get the talented folk singer to a larger audience in 1968, at which point she came to the attention of noted DJ John Peel, close friend of Rick Sanders, who signed her to his Dandelion Records label, for which she recorded three albums between 1968 and 1971, describing her as "The best lady singer- songwriter in the country at that time. Bridgett is till actively performing and recording in the present day. To B. Without a Hitch was selected as her first single release A side on Dandelion in 1969.
