Pelé Santos FC v. Washington Whips trophy dated 14th July 1968, a metal trophy presented to Pelé on July 14, 1968, by the Washington Whips Soccer Club when his Santos FC team played an international friendly match against the Whips in Washington, D.C., the metal trophy cup stands on a wood base, affixed to the base is a metal plaque with the dedication "Presented to/ 'PELÉ'/ July 14, 1968/ For his outstanding contribution/ to soccer throughout the world/ Washington Whips Soccer Club/ Washington, D.C./ U.S.A.", Approx. 34 by 23.5 by 18.5cm.

Pelé and his Santos FC team-mates won the match by a score of 3-1. The Washington Whips played in the United Soccer Association. The League was made up of teams imported from foreign leagues. The Washington club was actually Aberdeen F.C. from Scotland.
