Pelé 1989 City of Paris plaque, a plaque given to Pelé in 1989 featuring the artistry of French sculptor and medallion designer Raymond Delamarre (1890-1986), the bronze relief depicts scenes from the history of the City of Paris, including the beheading of Saint Denis, and references to French kings, the French Revolution and Napoleon, A. Delamarre signature and the date, 1951, appear on the Viking's shield in the lower right of the piece, accompanying the plaque is an additional bronze strip inscribed: "Paris A Pele" --1989--.", the plaque and the dedication strip fit in a red and blue velvet-lined case, the outside of the case displays Paris's Coat of Arms, the inside of the case is marked "Arthus Bertand/ Paris.", case 27.5 by 20.5cm.
