Pelé 14th July 1976 1,250th goal tribute trophy, a gold tone football boot presented to Pelé by the Pony Sporting Goods Company in honor of his 1,250th goal, scored on July 14, 1976, in a New York Cosmos v. Tampa Bay Rowdies match at Yankee Stadium in The Bronx, New York, the Cosmos won, 5-4, and Pelé scored two goals, the left-footed boot is a replica of the one Pelé wore to score the goals, it was presented to Pelé at New York City's 21 Club, the same venue where on June 10, 1975, the announcement was made that Pelé would join the New York Cosmos, the boot stands supported by a metal brace that is attached to a wood base, affixed to the front of the wood base is a metal plaque that reads "World Record/ 1250th Goal - July 14th 1976/ To/ Edson Arantes do Nascimento/ 'PELE.' ", 33 by 16 by13cm.
