Blue Scotland v. Wales, England and Northern Ireland International cap, 1938-39.

Blue Scotland v. Ireland, Wales and England International cap, 1938-39, blue velvet cap with gilt tassel and embroidered S v W, S v E, S v I, 1938-39.

We are unsure who the cap was awarded too. However, only two players played in all three matches and they were Bill Shankly and Tommy Walker, the cap has come from an Ayrshire source. 

In the match against Ireland played on 8th October 1938 at Windsor Park, Scotland defeated Ireland 2-0, Walker scoring, in the match against Wales played on 9th November 1938 at Tynecastle, Scotland defeated Wales 3-2, Walker scoring two goals and in the match against England  played on 15th April 1939 at Hampden, England defeated Scotland 2-1.
