Dave Bassett The Sun Manager of the Year Award, 1991, given to Dave following his achievement of guiding his Club, Sheffield United, to a 13th place finish in the top flight of English game following two previous back to back promotions and a slow start to life back in the Top Flight of the game, finishing the season level on points with 12th placed QPR, made from white metal on a plastic base, lettered THE SUN MANAGER OF THE YEAR AWARD 1991 DAVE BASSETT.           

Dave “Harry” Bassett's incredible career in football saw him mastermind seven promotions and become one of the elite number of Managers to take charge of over 1000 games, guiding Sheffield United to two promotions as well as presiding over the Club being founding members of the Premier League
