Vic Smyth memorabilia.

Vic Smyth memorabilia, comprising a pair of his jockey breeches circa 1920s, by Bedford Riding Breeches Co., Marble Arch, London, with name tag inside for V. Smyth, reasonably good condition, some marks; sold together with blue and white jockey silks believed to have been from one of his owners when he took up training, the white with blue diagonal stripes to the body appear to be the colours registered to Mrs G Buchanan, circa 1950s-60s, complete with a blue and a white cap, (4 items).

The Smyth family is one of the most famous names associated with Epsom as a training centre. Vic Smyth was a fine jockey in the 1920s, before becoming a trainer and most famously winning four Champion Hurdles.
