From the collection of the work rider Cliff Lines: a trophy shield double-mounted with a racing plate worn by Shergar when winning the 1981 Derby and a racing plate worn by Shareef Dancer when winning the 1983 Irish Derby,
both plates nailed to the oak shield and set with inscribed brass plaques, 36 by 28cm., good condition.
Cliff Lines was the work rider on both the HH The Aga Khan's Shergar and HH Sheikh Maktoum Al Maktoum's Shareef Dancer at Michael Stoute's stables in Newmarket; and was presented with one of the shoes from the horses after the victories at Epsom and the Curragh.
