Salford City Police Sports Day programmes, 1922 & 1931.

Salford City Police Sports Day programme held at The Cliff Grounds the then home of Broughton Rangers Rugby Football Club July 29th 1922, and Salford City Police Sports Day on 23rd May 1931 also at the Cliff, (2).

The Cliff is famous as it was Manchester United’s Ground as Broughton Rangers sold the ground to Manchester United in 1937 with a view to use it not only for the first team but to enrol the best schoolboy talents in the Manchester and local Areas, finding anything from the iconic Cliff pre-war is something special.
