Tom Curry 9ct gold and enamel Northumberland Aged Miners Homes Cup winners medal, 1926-27, the obverse inscribed NORTHUMBERLAND AGED MINERS HOMES COMPETITION, the reverse inscribed SENIOR DIVISION WINNERS 1926-27, in original fitted case, 18grms.

After retiring from playing in 1930 he began to focus on coaching and was appointed trainer at Carlisle United and later Manchester United after the 2nd World War he resumed his duties at Manchester United, Matt Busby stating he was the best trainer in Britain, he tragically died in the Munich Air Disaster.
