Tom Curry 9ct gold Newcastle United Division 1 League Championship winners medal, 1926-27, the obverse inscribed THE FOOTBALL LEAGUE, NEWCASTLE UNITED, the reverse inscribed League Champions 1926-27 Won By N.U.F.C. T. CURRY, in original fitted case.

Newcastle United won the League Championship this season with 56 points, Huddersfield Town being runners-up on 51 points.

After retiring from playing in 1930 he began to focus on coaching and was appointed trainer at Carlisle United and later Manchester United after the 2nd World War he resumed his duties at Manchester United, Matt Busby stating he was the best trainer in Britain, he tragically died in the Munich Air Disaster.
