Gordon McQueen - Alberto Bigon red and black No.9 A.C. Milan v. Leeds United 1973 UEFA Cup Winners Cup final match worn shirt, with v-neck collar and embroidered cloth badge, mud stains to sleeves.
The above shirt was worn by Alberto Bigon and gained by Gordon McQueen as a swap after the controversial final against A.C. Milan played on 16th May 1973 at the Kaftanzoglio Stadium Thessaloniki, A.C Milan defeated Leeds United 1-0.
The final will be always be remembered for the refereeing decisions and Leeds United did attempt to gain a replay but the request was denied. The referee was later banned for life by UEFA for match fixing
It is believed that Gordon was the only player to exchange shirt after the final as due to the match events Don Revie had banned his players from swapping.
