American Football Walter ‘Sweetness’ Payten exceptionally rare signed poster, by his footwear sponsors Kangaroos, shows Payton in front of suppliers car and signed boldly in ink. His nickname was 'Sweetness' and he played for 13 season for Chicago Bears. He is widely accepted as one of the all time greats, he retired in 1987 and sadly died a young age of 46 on 1/11/1999. He was suffering with a very rare liver disorder, his autograph is scarce as he was reluctant to sign. The vendor was working at World Trade Fair Chicago for Kangaroos, where he obtained the signed poster. He was given the sweatshirt, t-shirt, hat by Payton celebrating Chicago's win over New England Patriots, that had happened the week before as a souvenir, poster bears wear, folds, creases and losses to edges, slight fading to sweatshirt, (4)
