Rare Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics safety lamp, manufactured by the Protector Lamp and Lighting Co., of Eccles, Manchester, with lower glass globe in brass frame, with brass plaque inscribed Sochi 2014 emblem, 10in high x 3.5in wide with hook handle

The modified miners lamp enables the Olympic Flame to be safely travel by aircraft,  the Protector Lamp and Lighting Co., of Eccles, Manchester, which has produced Olympic lanterns for the last 30 years.
