Provenance: the shirt was collected by the vendor at the San Isidro training centre on a visit arranged by Admiral, the England kit sponsors at the time with the Argentinian FA as highlight of tour. At the event various souvenirs were given to the party. The vendor was given the shirt by Daniel Passarella captain of Argentina.
Little is known if the shirt was a match or training shirt.
