Large 19th Century German stoneware stein hinged pewter lid inscribed 1897 - WON BY - ALEXANDER GOUK, PRESENTED BY JOHN REID M.A., LONDON TO THE MERCANTILE GOLF CLUB MONTROSE, the body cast in relief with figures in a tavern, the base impressed 15 and 287, 18.5in. high
