There are a total of 491 bottles – one for every official game the iconic manager has been in charge. The bottles are numbered to reflect a specific fixture during the nine seasons of football. Carlsberg and ERDINGER have worked together every step of the way. The brew process uses two yeasts – Carlsberg yeast for the main fermentation and ERDINGER yeast for the bottle conditioning. The same goes for the raw materials; 50% ERDINGER Wheat Malt and 50% Carlsberg Pilsner Malt. And of course, the brew uses signature Red Barley. 100% of proceeds from this auction will be donated to the Liverpool FC Foundation to support the important work it does in creating life changing opportunities for the most underserved communities’ home and away.
