A set of nine football and cricket medals in a presentation box relating to the career of Joe Ryalls comprising of a 1902/3 Sheffield and Hallamshire County Cup medal, a 1904/5 Sheffield and Hallamshire FA Challenge Cup medal and a 1908 Rotherham Charity medal and a medal engraved S &HCFA WL 1904/ 5 to the front and J Ryalls on the reverse, which are made from gold and hallmarked, a Sheffield Schools Football Association medal dated 1894/5 and engraved on the reverse "Champions of England, J Ryalls", a medal engraved CHFS, J Ryalls 1892/3/4/5, a medal engraved 1895 on the front with J Ryalls on the reverse, a medal engraved HF and J Ryalls 1891 to the front and Runners Up- Minor Cup to the reverse, and a medal engraved R and D CC to the front and J Ryalls 1892-9 on the reverse, which are hallmarked and made from silver. The collection features early schoolboy and cricket medals as well as reserve team examples from his time with The Wednesday and also from his period with Rotherham Town.
