1966 FIFA World Cup winner's medal presented to Ottorino Barassi of FIFA's Executive Committee, hallmarked PEKA (Paul Kramer, Switzerland), .750 gold, the obverse with the design by the Jules Rimet Trophy creator Abel Lafleur (French, 1875-1953) with a winged figure of Victory based on the ancient Greek sculpture Nike of Samothrace (Louvre, Paris), inscribed F.I.F.A., the reverse with a laurel wreath and inscribed WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP, JULES RIMET CUP, IN ENGLAND, 1966, 35 by 22mm., weight 21gr.
