1934 FIFA World Cup winner's medal presented to Ottorino Barassi, President and Secretary of FIGC (Italian F.A.) and Director of the FIFA 1934 World Cup Organising Committee, gold, un hallmarked, designed by the Jules Rimet Trophy creator Abel Lafleur (French, 1875-1953) and signed to the reverse, the obverse with a winged figure of Victory based on the ancient Greek sculpture Nike of Samothrace (Louvre, Paris), inscribed F.I.F.A., the reverse with a fasces symbol and inscribed WORLD'S CUP, ROMA, GIUGNO, 1934, and named to O.
