Eight Ferry Across The Mersey promotional lobby posters from the 1965 film starring Gerry and the Pacemakers accompanied by a letter from their official Fanclub giving an update on activity and also dates for their up and coming autumn British tour for the same year which also talks about the imminent release of the film, (8) The eight poster pictures are in black and white, showing various images of the band and other cast members with the band name picked out in red, the film title in black and a caricature of Marsden and a girl on a scooter with a credit for United Artists and have some signs of age related wear and minor water damage, with the Fanclub letter being of the generic printed variety with some wear to the edges, being secured together by one staple in the top left hand corner. The lobby posters were printed in the USA for the vehicle by the Brian Epstein managed Merseybeat band who still remain the only one to have three successive No.1 with their first UK single releases.
