Sam Walker No.15 Ireland v. Wales International match worn shirt, 1936, Crotty's Dublin, with button-up collar and embroidered cloth badge, areas of staining, almost total colour loss and faded The above shirt was worn by Sam Walker and gained by Tom Rees as a swap after the match against Wales played 14th March 1936. Sam Walker was regarded as the best Irish forward of his day and later went on to captain the British team on their tour of South Africa in 1938 when the team were called The Lions for the first time.
