A programme from the first ever World Snooker finals at the Crucible Theatre, that took place from April 18th to 30th 1977 signed by Joe Davis, Ray Reardon, Alex Higgins, Eddie Charlton, Fred Davies, Graham Miles, Rex Williams, Perrie Mans, and many others in black pen; accompanied by a second programme from the Canadian Club Festival of Snooker that took place over May 1977 at the Northern Snooker club in Leeds and signed by Fred Davies, Perrie Mans, John Alderton, David Hemmings, Eric Sykes, Dennis Taylor and many others also on black pen and a colour photograph of Jimmy White, signed in black pen and measuring 30 x 20cm., (3) The Crucible programme is in good condition with some rusting to the staples and the centre pages being detached from the main binding with the Festival of snooker programme being in excellent condition. The start of a legend in South Yorkshire and a tradition that continues to this very day with the Crucible recognised across the world as the Wembley of the green baize.
