WILSON, with ring suspension in original fitted case, 27grms Huddersfield Town won the Division 1 League Championship this season and the second first of their history making three in-a-row League wins with 58 points, West Bromwich Albion being runners-up also on 56. In the League run in they suffered one loss in 27 league matches and overall only conceded 28 goals and were the first time not to concede more that two goals per game. The 1924-25 season was also notable for Billy Smith becoming the first player to score direct from a corner.
