Miscellany of Football, Tennis and Cricket items, comprising two cricket twin handle trophies, the first silver engraved ALNWICK CRICKET LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP 1927, 7.5cm. high; the second silver-plated engraved THROWING THE CRICKET BALL 1920, height 13cm.; a table lighter featuring a gilt miniature golfer figurine held within resin, height 13.5cm.; Rothmans Porsche travel bag, cream and navy with two handles, printed with ROTHMANS PORSCHE, central zip not working; two tennis trophy bookends, featuring an individual silvered miniature tennis racquet and ball within a resin plaque raised upon a variegated base, 15 by 10 by 7.5cm., one split from base; a Continental porcelain male tennis figurine, seated on a tree stump holding a tennis racquet and ball, no makers markings, 19cm.; two packets of cigarette cards, the first ‘Player’s’ featuring tennis movements with images of the tennis players of the period in original packet; the second ‘Will’s’ featuring actors of the period, in a John Player & Sons packet, each bearing minor wear to packets and cards; two male footballer figural bookends, featuring an individual silvered footballer with ball raised upon a composite base, 9.5 by 8.5 by 7cm., one footballer detached from base; six Worthington Best Bitter football cigarette cards, individually featuring players including V. Woodley (Chelsea), S. Cullis (Wolverhampton Wanderers), S. Matthews (Stoke City), J. Mercer (Everton), E. Drake (Arsenal) and T. Lawton (Everton), each stuck down on back board with mount, framed and glazed, 16 by 31cm.; a silvered shield shaped medallion, featuring two footballers on the front, reverse engraved V.W.F.C RUNNERS UP 1951-52, with suspension loop, diameter 2cm.; sold with white metal CLARK’S COLLEGE 1952-3 medal awarded to C.J. HADINGHAM, with suspension ring, diameter 4cm., and a damage spelter figure of a footballer on a square base, approx. height 26cm, head of footballer is damage and not attached to body, (13)
