The book has been inscribed by Pele in his hand to inside book plate 'To Jack all the best Edson Pele (full signature from his playing career 1958-1981) refers to Jack Kelsey who was in goal for Wales in 1-0 defeat in quarter-finals. would appear to have been personally given to Kelsey. Also inside the book are three copies of telegram to Kelsey from Tom Whittaker, congratulating Kelsey for selection for Wales 22nd March 1954, (4)
