Manuel Almunia purple Arsenal no.24 keeper jersey from the 2005-06 Champions League campaign. Player issued long sleeved NIKE example with the Champions League badge on the right arm. The front has the Arsenal Club rest mounted centrally and the O2 sponsor logo. The manufacturer trademark is present, both are depicted in white and the jersey is a UK size XL. The back is lettered ALMUNIA and bears the no. 24. both are depicted in white and the player has signed the no. 4in black felt tipped pen. The sleeves incorporate a grey chevron design. There is no visible evidence of match wear and t item is in excellent condition Arsenal were runners up in the Champions League campaign in the 2005/6 season following defeat by Barcelona in a thrilling game at the Stade de France in Paris and finished 2-1. Almunia made 12 full appearances for the Club over the season. Jens Lehmann controversially became the first player ever sent off during a Champions League Final when he was dismissed for a foul on Samuel Eto in the 18th minute of the game. He was replaced by Almunia.
