A collection of English billiards and snooker books from the early 1900s including some very rare signatures from professional and amateur players from the 70s, 80s and 90’s including a title from Joe Davis’s personal book collection. Amongst this diverse collection are signed snooker programmes from 90s and 00s including the late Paul Hunter three-times Masters champion and the late TV sports presenter David Vine. There are signed postcards from famous snooker players from the 1980s including famous referee John Williams and signed billiards programmes including renowned names from the world amateur championship in the 70s, 80s and 90s and there are some very rare book titles included. The collection also includes a signed photo album of many of today’s WST players including commentors, antique print of a famous billiard player, post cards, printed articles from 1890s and signed photo frames of famous players on tour today and famous players of yesterday’s era including a personal signed letter by the great Joe Davis and signed photos from his brother Fred Davis. The collection boasts of a Sotheby’s lot for the famous English billiards player, Melbourne Inman’s personal items including his walking stick and signed photos with Horace Lindrum from their South African tour and a signed cartoon by the famous cartoonist Tom Webster, (qty) See images for titles.
