The winning jockey’s trophy presented to Pat Eddery for the victory on Olden Times in the Prix Jean Prat at Chantilly 3rd June 2001, In the form of a bronze sculpture of a racehorse and jockey, bearing signature C Valton, the base set with plaque inscribed with race details, 20 by 22cm., good condition Olden Times was a British-bred bay colt (1998) by Darshaan out of Garah (Ajdal). He was owned by Prince A A Faisal and trained to win this French G1 at Arundel by John Dunlop. On home soil his best win was in the Earl of Sefton and he was also placed in three G1 races. As a stallion he sired the good Cup horse Times Up, trained by Ed Dunlop. This was Pat Eddery's only victory in the Prix Jean Prat.
