A presentation to Pat Eddery for his back-to-back Champion Jockey titles in 1974 and 1975, in the form of a silver-plated salver, inscribed PRESENTED BY BRISTOL SPORTING CLUB, TO PAT EDDERY, CHAMPION JOCKEY, 1974 AND 1975, diameter 36cm., some surface scratches and marks 1974 was the first of Pat Eddery's eleven Champion Jockey titles at a record young age of 22 since the Second World War. He was the first Irish-born rider to be crowned Champion Jockey of Britain. In 1974 Pat rode 148 winners; and in 1975 164 winners.
