I realize what a difficult horse he is and your great skill in having been able to achieve the result you did on Saturday. Looking forward to seeing you in England and congratulating you personally. Warmest regards, Charlie Engelhard. Ribocco was trained in England by Fulke Johnson-Houghton. Lester had previously finished runner-up on Ribocco in the Epsom Derby behind Royal Palace. Three years later Lester would ride Mr Engelhard's outstanding racehorse Nijinsky to win the Triple Crown.
