Jack Hobbs-signed The Star cricket competition for school boys certificate, awarded to Ronald Dicks of Faunce Street School, Kennington, 12th May 1934, for best batting performance, signed by JB Hobbs, Surrey & England XI and Edward Chattaway editor of The Star. Glazed and framed, overall size 49 by 37cm.. Sold together with two News Chronicle cricket scheme for schoolboys certificates, the first awarded to E Curtis from Manston National School, Leeds on 20th May 1939, signed by Herbert Sutcliffe Yorkshire & England XI and the second awarded to P Elsley from Eastbourne Grammar School on 20th May 1939, signed by Jack Hobbs Surrey & England, both glazed and framed, overall size 37 by 47cm., (3) Please be aware all glass will be removed from framed and glazed items prior to posting and may result in delays to shipping your items.
