Lynn Chadwick (1914 - 2003) 'Quattro Litografie' four lithographs artist's book, 1973, contained in Orange board portfolio case with frontispiece, narrative (in Italian by Renzo Federici and introductory page (Il Bisonte, Firenze, 1973).  There is an additional fifth lithograph (with large printed signature) showing a couple seated on a bench. Four lithographs in colour, on handmade cotton paper Magnani di Pescia with Bison watermark Titles include “Standing Figures”, 27.75 by 19.75in., 70.5 by 50.2cm.; “Sketches for Sitting Figures”, 27.75 by 19.75in.; 70.5 by 50.2cm.; “Standing Figures (with Pyramids)”, 27.75 by 19.75in., 70.5 by 50.2cm.; "Reclining Couple”, 27.75 by 19.75in., 70.5 by 50.2cm. Unframed. Each of the four signed, dated 1973 and numbered 48/99 Printed by: Atelier Bisonte, Florence (5) Reference: Bisonte Catalogue, Florence 1983, Number 169, 170.171.172 Note: The Atelier Bisonte in Florence, is one of the best print making atelier in Italy (especially for lithographs). In 1973 they collaborated with Chadwick for printing several lithographs and this portfolio. Each sheet generally in good condition with minor creases. ARR charges may be applicable.
