A rare Columbia 1986 FIFA World Cup pennant shield-shaped, and printed COLOMBIA PRESENTE EN 1986, COLOMBIA PRESENT IN 1986, KOLUMBIEN ANWESEND 1986, LA COLOMBIE PRESENTE EN 1986, 35 by 23cm, surmounted with metal rod. This rare pennant was produced to promote the 1986 World Cup finals in Columbia. However, due to economic reasons, they resigned from hosting in 1982 and FIFA subsequently awarded the finals to Mexico in 1983 The above pennant was presented to Harry Cavan, Vice-President of FIFA from 1960 to 1980 and Senior Vice-President from 1980-1990.
