Wembley white cast iron turnstile from the fan's entrance to the ground by W.I. Ellison & Co. Manchester, acquired from the 'Great Wembley Sell-off' prior to the construction of the current Wembley Stadium, the demi-lune structure with knopped upright supports bearing makers embossed stamp, pedal operated with four turnstile sections, fair with wear throughout, obvious rust and paint peeling, crack in part of cast iron base, height 104cm., width 108cm., depth 97cm., approximately, sold with original 2002 COA from Wembley Stadium; sold with The Mail on Sunday newspaper article dated 9th February 2003, faded and yellowed. Collection Only. The Wembley Stadium COA confirms that there were a total of 102 turnstiles in operation for the last match and prior to the demolition project.
